Pick One Thing You Love. Now Do It.

I freaking love design. No seriously. I forget to eat all day because I’m too busy practicing what I love. Design has been my passion for six years. I was fired from a telemarketing job because I solicited advice from business owners instead of selling them credit cards. I couldn’t be upset because I KNEW what I was doing.

Love isn’t just a euphoric, spontaneous feeling – it’s a choice. The first time I told my wife that I loved her, I made a choice. From that moment on, I dedicated my life to her and invested my time and energy into our relationship.

Think about the one thing you want to do for the rest of your life. Now, do that thing.

You’re life is short. The average lifespan in the United States is 27,375 days. Most people today are making less at their jobs than the amount of days they actually live. The truth is, we are scared to do what we love to do and that fear can come from several places. But you have to understand that if you don’t follow that passion, you will spend the rest of your life regretting everything you could’ve done.

What is it that you could dedicate your life to? What is that one ‘thing’ that you can invest all of your time and energy into doing?

Whether its culinary, music, finances, art, video games, whatever. Find it and do it.
